What are the tools and / or advice that you learned as a teen that has supported you in your success?
The best advice I ever learned is that you have to be your own best advocate. This applies professionally, socially, at school, you name it. Growing up, I struggled with confidence and often let people walk all over me. This led me to feel disengaged, helpless, and alone. By finding the strength in being my best advocate, I found success in that I started to listen and tend to my own needs while respecting others in order to become independent and thrive.
