What makes a TikTok makeup video engaging and authentic?

When shooting makeup videos, your lighting and angles really make all the difference, along with the colors you include. The more vibrant your video is, the higher the chance it will capture someone's attention and stop them from scrolling. Having varying angles will also keep the viewer engaged and always looking at something new and different. Having side-by-side comparisons is also good because it keeps the eyes busy and stimulated while also portraying a lot of information. Most importantly, if you are promoting a product, it is usually better to put your call-to-action at the end because then it seems like you are genuinely trying to promote the product out of your own experience and not because you are being paid to.
