How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?

I stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends by actively using both platforms with an analytical lens, not just as a viewer. I pay attention to emerging audio, formats, pacing, and caption styles, and I save or catalog content that performs well across different niches. I also follow creators, brands, and marketing accounts that consistently spot trends early, and I test trends through low lift content to understand how they translate to different brand voices. Staying current for me is a mix of daily platform immersion, pattern recognition, and experimenting in real time.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?

I’m drawn to influencer and social media marketing because it blends storytelling, community, and culture in real time. I love how brands can build trust and personality through creators in a way that feels organic and relational rather than transactional. Social platforms are where trends, language, and identity are constantly being shaped, and I enjoy paying attention to how content evolves and why certain moments resonate. I’m especially interested in how influencer marketing allows brands to feel human, emotionally relevant, and culturally aware, while still being strategic and measurable.
