What gets me most excited about working in the beauty industry is being a part of something that helps people with their confidence and self-esteem. Growing up, I wasn't the most confident person. It wasn't until I started taking care of my appearance that it made me feel a little more confident about myself, whether it was skincare or makeup. I'm not saying you have to wear makeup or have perfect skin to feel confident, but a little confidence boost doesn't hurt anyone, so if being a part of the beauty industry means I get to make someone feel better about how they feel, then this is where I'm meant to be.
