what student housing (on or off campus) would you deliver mailers to first, and why?
I would deliver mailers first to large, high-traffic student housing close to campus, starting with the big freshman residence halls near central UC Berkeley (like Units 1, 2, and 3). These buildings have hundreds of students in each, most of whom are still setting up their study routines and would be excited about new stationery and organization tools. From there, I’d expand to popular off-campus student apartments and Greek housing where a lot of upperclassmen live. Since I live off campus and I’m involved in multiple student orgs at Berkeley, I’m already connected to a wide range of communities, which would make it easy to personally hand out mailers and talk about the giveaway in spaces where students actually hang out and study.

How would you create content that reflects MUJI's brand style?
I would create calm, minimal content that matches MUJI’s simple and functional aesthetic. That means clean backgrounds, neutral colors, and natural lighting, with the focus on how MUJI products quietly improve everyday life. For example, I’d film short TikToks/Reels of study and desk setups, “pack my bag with me” clips, and note-taking routines that highlight MUJI stationery in use rather than loud, over-edited transitions. As a college student who loves organizing my space and planning my day, I’d lean into that lifestyle: slow, satisfying shots of writing, organizing, and packing, paired with soft sounds or simple music and short, clear captions. Overall, I’d keep the content simple, warm, and practical, so it feels true to MUJI’s brand philosophy of thoughtful design and everyday comfort.
