Can you share a time when your communication skills have helped you successfully engage with a community?
In a previous role, I was responsible for encouraging participation in a local tech learning program. The community was diverse—some were students curious about new skills, others were professionals looking to advance, and some were hesitant because they felt the program was too “technical” for them.
To bridge that gap, I adapted my communication style for each group:
For students, I used relatable examples like “learning this skill will help you build your own mobile app.”
For professionals, I focused on career growth and opportunities.
For those who were unsure, I simplified the language, avoided jargon, and shared stories of people like them who had succeeded.

I’d approach promoting language learning opportunities to a diverse audience by making it inclusive, relatable, and accessible
