Explain why you think you are right for recruiting and leading a group of 30+ students at your college
I am a chair member on two student organizations at my school, the Student Nurses of Ursuline College (SNUC) and the Student Advisory Council (SAC). For SNUC I run our annual Go Red event where we raise money for the American heart association, last year we raised $1,250 with a turn out of 50 people. For SAC my peers and I advise faculty about changes we think should be made to the curriculum and courses. Because of my roles at school I know majority of the nursing majors on campus. For our SNUC events we typically get 20-30 people for meetings and around 30-50 people for social events. Since we are a smaller campus most of our larger events our held off campus.
