In a given week, your responsibilities range from updating financial models, to scheduling with external partners, to tracking inventory movement, to prepping decks for a marketing meeting. How do you prioritize and execute when everything is urgent?
focus on what’s time-sensitive first, like partner scheduling or meeting prep, then block time for deeper tasks like financial updates. I use to-do lists and calendar reminders to stay organized, and I always communicate early if timelines shift. Balancing mentorship, academics, and outreach roles has trained me to stay focused and flexible under pressure.

Tell us about a time when maintaining accurate data was crucial to your role. How did you ensure the data stayed clean, up to date, and aligned across systems or teams?
As a Bridge Coach with the College & Career Bridge for All program, maintaining accurate data was essential to supporting over 300 high school students with their postsecondary plans. I used tracking systems to log each student’s progress including outreach attempts, follow-up notes, and completed milestones like FAFSA submission or college registration. Accuracy was critical because these updates were used by my supervisors and school counselors to make real-time decisions. To keep everything clean and aligned, I regularly cross-checked my notes across platforms like Google Sheets and the program's internal CRM, ensured dates and statuses were consistently formatted, and flagged any duplicates or issues immediately. I also made it a habit to review my entries at the end of each day to ensure I hadn’t missed anything, especially when managing a high volume of outreach. This helped our team stay coordinated and ensured no student fell through the cracks.
