How do you stay up to date with social media trends?
being an active participant, not just an observer. I spend time daily on platforms like TikTok and Instagram exploring my For You page, saving trending sounds, formats, and creator styles, and paying close attention to what’s gaining traction and why. I also follow creators, brands, and social strategists who consistently set trends rather than chase them. Beyond scrolling, I test trends myself through content creation and track performance to understand what resonates. I also stay informed through trend reports, newsletters, and platform updates, and regularly analyze how trends can be adapted to fit a brand’s voice rather than copied directly.
