Meeting up is more reliable from Facebook marketplace as you may know the person or have mutuals but the concept really sets it apart from other thrifting platforms.

The biggest advice I have taken with me is to always give your all as you never know what will come out of it. You never know what you can achieve or what opportunities will be available to you unless you just try. I know this to be true as I have fallen on both sides of the coin. There have been times I gave up because I was scared of the result and later found out what I could have achieved if I just kept going. Most of my successes are from the opposite effect, when I kept going even though I was scared it wouldn't produce the result I wanted, and in many cases it did and I was happy I tried.

I think sometimes it's easier to get to know me through my online identity than in real life since it can take me a minute to open up to people. I would want to use it in the sense kind of like a preview of who I am.
