One of the times I took a leadership role in my community was when I was a teaching assistant for my local tamil school. I helped teach younger children every week about my native language, tamil, and I helped out with all the events the community held.

I was in charge of the homework and discussion board for a SAT class that I was the teaching assistant for in the past. I was tasked with making sure every students question was answered, as well as grading everybody's homework in a timely manner.
