Please share any relevant social media management experience and how you defined success in the role.

I have used media as a management tool for some of the organizations I have been a part of in the past, but never directly for a role. This upcoming fall, I will be the social media coordinator for a jewelry company operating on campus, and responsible for the awareness and event planning surrounding it. For me, success doesn't just look like numbers, but rather well thought out and designed work. Content that has clear intention and passion put behind it, while still achieving the relatability to its audience. The media should be well designed, thoughtful, diverse and inclusive in its messaging, and most important of all... Fun!

What role does journaling play in your life?

Journaling has always been a way for me to reflect when I feel like my emotions have hit a point of overflow. It’s a way for me to privately express how I am feeling and to check in with myself over time to see progress, growth, and how I’ve changed emotionally, physically, and spiritually over the years. I want to learn how to become more consistent with my journaling because being able to freely write what you don’t want to say out loud is a powerful tool.
