Do you have experience working with Consumer Brands for TikTok and Instagram? If so, can you share your role, the biggest lesson you learned, and what you would do differently?
No, I do not have any experience working with consumer brands. My thought process in the past was that you had to have a large following to do so. However, the more I research the more I see that is not the case! So I am planning on reaching out to a few brands and eager to hear back from them.

Can you describe a time when you successfully engaged with an online audience through social media?
Last Thanksgiving I went viral on TikTok for posting a video of myself asking my grandmother to pronounce certain Massachusetts native words with her Boston accent. The video blew up and has 3.4 million views and over 280k likes. I still get hundreds of likes till this day! I used relevant hashtags in my caption such as #boston, #massachusetts, #bostonaccent, #thanksgiving, to name a few. I also made sure the video was over a minute long because from what I've learned you reach a larger audience with longer videos. I did not expect the video to blow up and for me (and my mimi) to get that much attention from it!

How do you stay updated on the latest trends in the pet industry to create relevant content? -- Do you have a dog?
To stay updated on the latest trends I follow pet "influencers" if you want to call them that. They'll use certain sounds or do certain trends that are going viral with their pet specifically on TikTok. I will then most likely film it with my dog. Yes! I do have a dog. I have a five year old mini golden doodle named Bauer and about a month ago we got another mini golden doodle puppy named Leia. I also live with a sixth month old golden retriever puppy at college because he belongs to my roommate :) Lots of goldens!
