Creator Sourcing Intern
Please brainstorm three avenues you'd utilize to engage and source new creators for the pager platform.
Three avenues I would explore for the Pager platform would be: partnerships with educational institutions, collaboration events, and strengthen online communities.
To begin, partnerships with educational institutions would open doors for individuals, particularly college students, to showcase their work and ideas. This would allow collaboration within the institution to hold workshops, guest lectures, seminars, and ultimately, introduce the platform to potential employees and sponsors. This could not only helps source new creators but also establish long-term relationships with emerging students who are working for careers in communcation.
Secondly, I propose hosting collaboration events. These events can be focused on specific themes, which will attract individuals with unique backgrounds and skills. Additionally, would provide a space for people to brainstorm ideas, work on projects, and recognize people within the creative industry. This would be a perfect way to motive people to use and share the Pager Platform.
Lastly, strengthen online communities! It’s no secret that social media is powerful. By engaging with online communities through social media platforms, Pager can target content to specfic groups and can offer insight & feedback to employees and creators via social media, such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.

In my role as the collegiate communications manager for the Austin chapter of the National Hispanic Institute, I have gained valuable experience in managing social media platforms, specifically Instagram. My primary responsibility has been to create original content and manage the overall social media presence of the organization while maintaining communications between students and parents.
To create engaging content, I have utilized various tools, including ProCreate on iPad, to design visually appealing and compelling posts. By using ProCreate, I have been able to create eye-catching graphics and images that resonate with the target audience.
Since I started managing the social media accounts, we have experienced a 5% increase in followers. This growth indicates that our content strategy has been successful in attracting and retaining followers, which is an important measure of success in social media management. I have also monitored the acquisition of new accounts, and in the last month alone, we have seen a remarkable increase of 229% in new accounts. This growth demonstrates that our content has not only appealed to our existing followers but also attracted a significant number of new users to engage with our posts and follow our account.
In addition to follower growth, I have also considered metrics such as reach and engagement to evaluate the success of my social media management efforts. By consistently creating original content and utilizing strategies like carousel posts, we have been able to increase the reach of our posts and encourage higher engagement rates from our audience.
Overall, my approach to defining success in the role of social media management has been centered around the growth of followers, acquisition of new accounts, and increased reach and engagement. By utilizing creative design techniques and implementing effective content strategies, I have contributed to the positive results we have achieved on Instagram for the Austin chapter of the National Hispanic Institute.
