Interview Questions
Baton Market
SDR for Head of Growth
What's a time when you failed at something but through grit and determination became successful at it?
Public speaking and thinking on my feet did not come naturally to me and a few years ago I would stutter and turn red when I needed to speak, even with prepared notecards. However, I have been determined to overcome this fear of public speaking and improve my quick-thinking skills, and since then I have taken every opportunity to do so. For example, currently I am a part-time teaching assistant and my time teaching lessons forces me to present information clearly to students and adapt my approach to fit the students‘ needs in real time. Currently I am confident in my presentation abilities and am proud of my ability to think on my feet, and am continuously developing these skills.
