How do you engage audiences on social media effectively?
I engage audiences by combining audience insight, platform‑native creativity, and data‑driven iteration, an approach I strengthened as UCLA’s Top Ambassador for Gymshark. I start by understanding what the target audience values and how they consume content, then build posts that feel authentic, relevant, and aligned with platform trends. At Gymshark, this meant tracking daily shifts in TikTok and Instagram formats, using high‑retention hooks, and creating content that matched the pace and tone Gen Z responds to. I focus on community activation to deepen engagement. Partnering with UCLA fitness clubs and micro‑communities allowed me to create content that felt personal and grounded in real student experiences. This approach helped drive strong organic reach and contributed to the success of 20+ campus activations, generating more than 1,200 QR scans, 700 signups, and a 38% increase in event attendance. I rely on performance data to refine strategy in real time. By monitoring watch time, shares, saves, and comment patterns, I quickly identified what resonated and adjusted content accordingly. The posts that performed best were always authentic and community-centered.

What content ideas do you have for the Stability Challenge?
Picture this: I film a short, punchy TikTok or Reel, 15 to 60 seconds of pure fun, where a blindfolded participant (or just someone with eyes squeezed shut) rocks one Squid Sock on one foot and a regular old sock on the other, secretly labeled A and B to keep it unbiased. They dive into quick stability tests like holding a single-leg balance, shuffling laterally, jumping with power, tackling an agility ladder, or dropping into simple squats and lunges, feeling/demonstrating the quality difference. Then, the big reveal: off comes the blindfold, and they discover the foot that stayed locked in, no slippage, no heel roll, was the Squid Sock. This idea could be narrated with "no bias, just pure performance. Squid Socks win again!" This concept works like magic because it reflects genuine and fun reactions. Drawing from my Gymshark ambassador experience, where I've crafted similar content showcasing how top-tier activewear locks in fit and performance during intense workouts. Squid Socks' grip tech is like that upgraded compression for your feet, as it silences distractions so you can crush the lift or run without discomfort. And to make it even more relatable, my collaborators and I would include variations across scenarios: in the gym, no foot slide under heavy squat rack sets; on a run, treadmill sprints without any bunching or heeling up; in Zumba, quick footwork moves staying locked for spins and turns; or even daily life, like hauling groceries up stairs. Always referencing the movement with "you chose stability without knowing it was Squid Socks!" This advertisement is all about turning a simple comparison into a story that resonates with consumers, like how I've seen community challenges explode when real people feel that "aha" moment and share it.
