What do you look for in a beauty product review?

I look for honesty, visible results, and real-life use, like how it wears over time, pros/cons, and whether it’s actually worth the price.

How do you think about the difference between content that builds a brand vs. content that drives a purchase?

Thinking of it as awareness vs. action. Brand-building content focuses on creating a feeling and connection. It’s more lifestyle-driven, showing values, routines, and the overall vibe of the brand. The goal is to build trust and familiarity so people remember and relate to the brand over time. Purchase-driven content is more direct and conversion-focused. It highlights specific benefits, results, or reasons to buy, such as product features, testimonials, or clear calls to action. A strong strategy needs both: brand content to warm up the audience, and conversion content to turn that interest into actual purchases.
