You don't like the product, how do you proceed with this gig? Who do you notify and what steps do you take?
First, I would notify the company, since I suspect hired me to give some honest feedback.
Secondly, I would submit a report/review. Starting objectively describing the product and its perks, I would contrast positive and negative features. Moreover, I would explain why the product didn't work for me: What's missing? Honest feedback should be judgemental but polite. To sum up and conclude my feedback I would suggest improvement that could be applied to the product.
Finally, having submitted that, I would give the product to someone else that may find it useful.

Please talk about something you've done that demonstrates attention to detail.
I help my grandfather (93 years old) to manage his bank accounts, clean his house and do groceries. I pay for his services, register them on an excel table for an easy understanding and manage to do each chore he assigns me. I have to remind him to take his medicines, the order and and quantity of each one. He is absolutely rigorous, and so am I.
