To maximize event attendance, I focus on early awareness, consistent promotion, and making the event feel relevant and worth attending for students.First, I would start promotion early through multiple channels student organization group chats, Instagram posts and stories, campus flyers, and direct outreach to club leaders who can share the event with their members. Peer-to-peer sharing is especially effective because students are more likely to attend something recommended by friends or organizations they trust.Second, I would emphasize clear value in every promotion. Instead of just announcing the event, I would highlight what students gain from attending, such as free food, networking opportunities, giveaways, or exclusive Uber One perks. Making the benefit immediately clear increases interest and urgency.Finally, I would build excitement through countdowns, interactive content (polls, Q&As, “bring a friend” incentives), and reminders closer to the event date. I would also ensure the event feels engaging and well-organized so that attendees have a positive experience and are more likely to return or recommend it to others.

I would start by understanding what attendees are interested in whether it’s payments, mobility, student budgeting, or startup innovation and connect those interests back to how Uber and Uber Eats fit into their daily financial habits.I would create interactive touchpoints such as quick “student spending challenges” (e.g., comparing the cost of commuting vs. ridesharing or cooking vs. ordering in), QR codes for exclusive fintech event promotions, and short demos showing how Uber One can help students save money over time.I would also encourage engagement through storytelling, sharing relatable examples of how students use Uber services to manage time and expenses efficiently. The goal would be to make the brand feel practical, relevant, and seamlessly integrated into everyday financial decision-making rather than feeling like a traditional advertisement.
