I don’t have a formal portfolio yet, as this would be my first marketing opportunity, but I’m eager to learn and excited to build one through hands-on experience.

I stay updated by actively engaging on Instagram and TikTok daily, paying attention to trending sounds, formats, and creators, especially within college and cultural spaces. I also notice what performs well across different communities and adapt trends in ways that feel authentic rather than forced.

Influencer and social media marketing attracts me because it blends storytelling, culture, and community impact. As a double major in sociology and dance at Spelman College, I examine how identity, trends, and representation influence the way people connect, while also utilizing movement and creativity as powerful forms of expression. Being in a space that uplifts Black women and amplifies authentic voices has shown me how influential platforms can drive connection and visibility. Social media marketing allows me to combine cultural insight with creativity to engage audiences in a meaningful and intentional way.
