Interview Questions

What is your experience with organizing or attending college events?
Through my involvement in my sorority at Indiana University, I’ve had experience both attending and helping organize a variety of college events. Sorority life involves frequent social, philanthropic, and networking events, which has given me exposure to how these events are planned and promoted.I’ve participated in organizing group attendance for events such as formals, date parties, and philanthropy events. This often involves coordinating with members, sharing event information in group chats, helping promote the event within the house, and making sure people know the details such as time, location, and sign-ups. Ive also been in charge of managing excel sheets to accommodate for all the attendees. Attending these events has also given me insight into what makes a college event successful—clear communication, strong promotion through social media and word-of-mouth, and creating an environment where people feel excited to attend. Being part of a large student organization has helped me understand how quickly information spreads on campus and how important peer influence is when promoting events.Overall, my experience in a sorority has helped me develop organizational, communication, and teamwork skills that are important for planning and promoting successful college events.

How would you promote a new blow dry promotion on campus?
Being on campus, word of mouth and group events is best for promoting this. As a part of my sorority, girls all the time are going out, doing their hair and going to big events. We gather as a 400 girl chapter every Sunday and I know the girls would love to hear about this. I also have partners with sports teams and dance teams in the past to spread awareness about other hair brands as well. Each member of my sorority has something special about them where their hair makes them feel confident, whether it be as a cheerleader, athlete, leader of a business club or interviews.
Drink KEY
Social Media Manager - 2 week trial

what would be your first idea for a social media campaign or social post?
I would start off with the "Key" moment that you realize you need fuel whether its studying, before the gym or a wake up for an event. It would center around the moment they crack the drink open and have a boost of energy.
