if you were in charge of hayati's socials for one week, what would you do?
If I were in charge of Hayati’s socials for one week, I would focus on creating content that feels authentic, engaging, and rooted in Arab culture while building momentum through community and visibility. I’d start with quick, aesthetic videos showing everyday ways to enjoy za’atar—like with bread, eggs, or labneh—paired with relatable Arab mom humor to connect with our core audience. Midweek, I’d share a short educational clip highlighting the cultural significance of Palestinian za’atar, and I’d encourage followers to join in by sharing their own za’atar recipes and moments with a branded hashtag so we can repost and celebrate them on our page. I’d also adapt a trending TikTok format in a culturally relevant way, keeping the content fresh and fun, while ending the week with a cozy ASMR-style video of bread, olive oil, and za’atar to capture that warm, at-home feeling. Throughout the week, I’d stay active in the comments and DMs to keep the brand voice personal and approachable, and I’d also start laying the groundwork for potential collaborations with bigger Arab and Arab American names—like Bella Hadid—who embody the culture and could amplify Hayati’s message to a much wider audience.

who are your favorite content creators?
Some of my favorite content creators are Mxriyum, because I get a lot of my weeknight dinner ideas and even Ramadan meal inspiration from her recipes. I also really enjoy SlushyNoobz — Martin and Hamzah are absolutely hilarious, and their content is mostly reaction-based and comedy, which makes it super entertaining when I just want to laugh. On the other hand, I like Leah Kateb because her content leans more into lifestyle and beauty care. It feels relatable and inspiring in a different way, especially when it comes to self-care and everyday routines.

what's a brand you admire for their social presence?
A brand I really admire for their social presence is Topicals. I’ve always loved skincare, and I think they do such a perfect job of balancing education with relatability. Their content feels authentic, funny, and real, while still giving people real value when it comes to taking care of their skin. I like that they don’t just promote products—they actually create a community and make skincare feel inclusive and approachable. It’s inspiring to see a brand use social media to connect with people in such a human way.
