How do you research trends and come up with ideas for short-form content?
To specifically research trends within a specific niche, I target my algorithm to that niche, and see what is the most engaging currently. I have many different accounts, that helps with changing up my algorithm. Although I also don't want to do exactly as everyone else is doing. I want to make my content stand out in some way, often by overlapping a really popular trend with a smaller niche.
