I want to draw a connection between the life of a college student and the life of an animal tracked by FAHLO, a shark for example. A student learns, gets lunch, goes on a walk, sleeps, interacts with others- so would a hammerhead shark, just in a different way.

I am a unique person. I look for the joy in anything and everything. Then, I capture it on my phone or on my digital camera. Splicing together clips of things that bring both me and many others joy - not the fake, mass-distributed smiles, but the laughing so hard you cry, the messy, real truth of being a young person in this world.

I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience creating content through managing social media for a nutrition bar, my own micro bakery, and my high school theatre department, along with consistently posting on my personal accounts. My content actually connects with different audiences—frequently through nostalgia-inducing, lifestyle, joy-sparking, real human content. I’ve done everything from filming and editing to writing captions and keeping up with trends. I think it’s helped me understand how to balance content that looks good but also feels natural and engaging, instead of overly produced. And since I’m creating and posting regularly, I’ve developed a good sense of what works and how to keep people interested.
