Can you describe a time you successfully persuaded someone to try a new product or service?
Yes—back in college, I helped sell our school project products on campus. At first, many students weren’t sure if they wanted to try them, so I focused on explaining the benefits in a fun, relatable way and even offered samples. Once they tried it, word spread and sales picked up. I also have experience in TikTok live selling, where persuasion is about energy and connection. By showing the clothes on camera, highlighting their quality, and engaging directly with viewers’ comments, I was able to convince hesitant viewers to buy in real time. Both experiences taught me that persuasion isn’t about pressure—it’s about showing value and building excitement.

How would you approach building relationships with new local vendors?
I’d start by doing my homework—learning about the vendor’s business, values, and what matters most to them. From there, I’d reach out in a friendly, professional way, focusing on building trust through clear communication and reliability. I’d look for win–win opportunities, whether through fair terms, consistent follow-ups, or supporting their growth alongside ours. Relationships last when vendors feel valued, not just contracted, so I’d make sure they see us as true partners, not just clients.
