Well I just mentioned it in the last one maybe I should have waited lol.

But the philo I’m in charge of is called FSL Linedance, this a sorority dance competition that is hosted in the basketball arena and sells nearly 5,000 tickets for the main event, and in total we raised $510,000 at the end of the semester and have a goal of $750,000 for this year. We work with all 17 sororities and 5 of the fraternities which means I have direct contacts with all of their presidents, and others who run their respective chapters. Also through linedance I have been lucky enough to also create a deep relationship with the FSU staff that is in charge of IFC (all fraternities) and Panhellenic (all sororities)

And then through my fraternity (sig ep) I was social chair for a year where between each semester I budgeted roughly $500,000 between social events, mixers, formals, tailgates, etc etc. I have ran events within sig ep that hosted people of over 3,000 people. Now I am currently the Vice President where I am the second in command for sig ep and my main job is Risk Management. Having to go from the most fun position to the position that is the most looked down on while keeping my same relationship and friendship with all of my brothers is something I am unbelievably proud of.

Through my connections between my fraternity, campus involvement, and philanthropy connecting with my campus will be almost effortless. I am currently in charge of the biggest Greek run philanthropy on campus that works with all 17 sororities and 5 of the fraternities on campus. I also have been on exec for my fraternity for two years (social chair for 1 and VP for the next). So whether it’s through my fraternity or through my philanthropy my connections will make campus involvement with WIP inevitable.
