Drink KEY

KEY Energy Drink Reviewer

Drink KEY Profile Image

How would you articulate the energy boost you experience after trying a new energy drink like KEY?

If I had to articulate it, I'd describe both the physical and mental sensations that were stimulated.

A time-range for the boost kicking in, the abruptness or lack thereof of flavours, and of course, taste!

For example, I'd describe it like how I'd say it, "It kicked in pretty quickly, maybe like 10 minutes? It's not in-your-face but the flavours are bold, with a gradual rise. I slowly dialed in, you know? And, there wasn't any of that crashing caffeine in it, which helped come off a high."

What specific aspects of a drink's taste do you consider when evaluating a new beverage?

The strength and intensity of the first sip, is important. It indicates if the drink will forcefully wake you up, or slowly bring you to attention.

To see the flavours, and to taste them, are two different things, hence, I always try to decipher if I can taste what is advertised authentically.

Mouth-feel is important. Some drinks leave your tonuge all like, dry and coated. I like a drink that goes down smooth, hence, I will always see how that aftertaste is.
