As a receptionist for my college, I was tasked with answering the phone, listening to what problem a caller was having, and transferring them to the appropriate department. Along with this, I was responsible with delegating the correct parking pass to customers visiting our campuses, and scheduling in-person and on the phone meetings. All of these tasks combined require a strong attention to detail. If one thing is done wrong, or clicked wrong, it allows for the whole meeting or visit to not run as smoothly.
