I’ve had some experience conducting research on healthcare practitioners. through a project I worked on focusing on how the Danish healthcare professionals assess ADHD. To gather insights, I interviewed nurses and general practitioners (GPs) situated in Copenhagen, using a wide sample pool based on their ADHD treatment criteria. I made sure to be mindful of their time and confidentiality throughout the process. It was a wonderful learning experience—not just in terms of research skills, but also in understanding the challenges healthcare professionals face when diagnosing mental health. It also helped me learn how to ask the right questions and utilize their input for my research project.
