If you could build your own brand, what would it be and how would you make it culturally relevant?

If I could build my own brand, it would be a raw, unapologetic lifestyle brand that blends alt culture with urban edge think piercings, mental health awareness, tattoos, streetwear, and music all wrapped into one space. It’d be called something like “UNFILTERED” a brand that says you don’t have to shrink yourself to fit in. I’d make it culturally relevant by staying tapped into real communities not just trends. I’d collab with local artists, mental health advocates, and underground creatives to make sure the brand speaks to people who’ve been overlooked. We’d host events that feel more like block parties or open mics than marketing campaigns. And the visuals? Very expressive, very real dark tones, bold fonts, raw emotion. Not polished, just honest. It wouldn’t just sell products it would create space for people like me to feel seen, safe, and loud.
