What design software tools are you most proficient in?
I’m most comfortable working in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Lightroom. I tend to move between them depending on the kind of project I’m working on. For social-first designs, I usually build in Canva because it’s fast, collaborative, and easy to adapt for different platforms. When I need more detailed or stylized assets, I switch to Illustrator or Photoshop. Lightroom is my go-to for anything involving photo editing or consistent visual tone.

Can you describe your experience with brand-focused graphic design?
I’ve built a lot of brand-focused design experience through roles that pushed me to think about visuals as part of a bigger story. In my work with HUCSC, I designed graphics for student events and campus initiatives that needed to feel true to our brand while still catching attention. I got comfortable working within set colours, typography, and themes, then finding small ways to refresh them so every campaign felt intentional and exciting. At TechAlliance, I created assets for the Techstars program launch and other community-focused campaigns. Each project had its own identity, so I learned how to adapt visuals without losing the overall brand feel. Designing for multiple platforms at once also strengthened my sense of layout, hierarchy, and what reads well on different screens. My time at Relish helped me grow that skill in a different direction. I worked on creator-focused outreach and email design, which called for visuals that had personality and felt on-brand for a younger, social-driven audience. Before all of that, I ran my own small business and handled all the creative direction on my own. That taught me a lot about consistency, visual storytelling, and how design shapes a brand’s personality from the ground up.
