Right now I use Apple Music for my music streaming. I like the platform (and the aesthetics are better than Spotify), but the recommendation engine is borderline unusable. A big part of how I discover new music is through randomly getting songs picked for me by these recommendation algorithms (Youtube, Apple Music, etc). Sometimes, Apple Music will recommend "new" songs to me that I've already added to playlists, or just suddenly jump around between genres. I would improve the recommendations by tweaking the algorithm to offer more recommendations that are both relatively popular and align with what the user has previously liked/disliked.
