I previously worked as a tour manager for local bands. My roles for each tour were to book the shows (averaged 35 shows per tour), including venue contacts and finding opening acts; plan lodging arrangements for each city, plan transportation routes; create and manage the dining budget; manage and track tickets and merchandise sales; and work with each venue to plan load-in times, soundchecks, provided equipment, tech riders, stage plots, and lighting and visual cues. Additionally, for most of these bands, I was the only crew member with the band, so I worked as a photographer, videographer, full social media manager, stage coach, vocal instructor, and event promoter throughout the tour.
