Imagine you have a limited budget and resources to promote As I Am on campus. What innovative strategy or event would you propose to create maximum impact and engagement?
1. I would do a collaboration with the natural hair club "NAPS" on campus.
2. I would also have a table at the Black History Event on campus to educate people about the brand and how to properly take care of their natural hair.
3. I would have a pop up table on campus during a major event to give out free samples and educate others on the brand.
As I Am celebrates natural beauty and empowerment. How do your personal values align with our brand's mission, and how would you convey this alignment in your role as a Campus Ambassador?
In my role as campus ambassador is to embody the values of the company. I display natural beauty and empowerment through my activities on campus. I am apart of Women in Business on campus this displays women empowerment and aim for equality in the workforce.
Describe a time when you encountered a diversity or inclusion challenge related to natural hair or beauty standards on campus. How did you address it, and what was the outcome?
When I was on campus one day this girl said that I had "good hair." Some people define good hair as an certain texture. I address this situation by informing the person that good hair is not an loose or certain kind of textured hair. Good hair to me is healthy hair. The outcome was that I was able to educate a person to stop using the term "good hair," and make every hair texture feel included and important.
