Accessibility, affordability, quality, and longevity (in a sense of will it catch on with the masses to keep it alive for a long time, it may be related to how easy it may be used, how easy it is to understand, etc.)

What's three important aspects you consider when adopting a new social app into your daily screen time?
Accessibility. If you want it to become popular with the masses, make it accessible in any platform (android, ios, etc.)
Easy to use. May it be controls or the interface is easy to understand and utilize, you name it. As long as people of all ages can use it, it will last for a long time.
Purpose. What is the purpose of the app? Does it serve a niche in social platforms? Twitter is like a personal diary, while FB is like a personal profile or representation of you. It must bring something new to the table. Something unfamiliar but easy to use.
