Show us one brand on TikTok or Instagram whose voice you’d want Swishvo’s to feel like, and one we should absolutely not sound like. Why?

The Inspo Brand: Omsom (or LOOM)Why: LOOM (a reproductive health platform) or Omsom (a food brand rooted in cultural heritage) masterfully balance deep cultural reverence with a modern, unapologetic, and highly engaging digital presence. They don't treat heritage as an "aesthetic"—they treat it as foundational truth. Their voice is warm, conversational, fiercely protective of their community, and highly educational without feeling academic or stuffy. This is exactly how Swishvo should feel: rooted, authoritative, yet deeply accessible and culturally fluent. The Anti-Inspo Brand: Cerebral (or traditional health-tech giants)Why: Swishvo should absolutely not sound like a sterile, venture-backed, corporate clinical app. Brands like Cerebral or generic digital health platforms rely on sanitized medical jargon, overly corporate empathy ("We care about your wellness"), and highly transactional, "clinical-chic" aesthetics. If Swishvo sounds like a standard tech startup trying to monetize spirituality, it will instantly lose the trust of the very providers (herbalists, doulas, chaplains) it aims to protect. The voice must never feel transactional.

Pick any Swishvo provider type (doula, midwife, chaplain, herbalist, grief counselor, etc.) and pitch one short-form video concept you’d make for them. Include the hook, the visual, and the caption.

The Hook (First 3 seconds): "Why the hospital system isn't enough for your birthing plan (from a certified Doula)."

The Visual: A split-screen or transition effect. It starts with the Doula looking overwhelmed by a stark, text-heavy medical chart or a mock "hospital policy" checklist. Then, a quick, satisfying transition to the Doula lighting incense, organizing a birthing pool, or gently holding a client's hands in a warm, dimly lit space. The camera focuses on close-up, high-quality, calming B-roll of the physical tools of ancestral care (herbal compresses, wraps).

The Caption: Medical charts track your vitals, but who is tracking your spirit? 🕊️Modern healthcare is great for emergencies, but ancestral birthwork ensures you are seen, held, and respected throughout your entire journey. We’re building the digital home for providers who bridge this gap every single day.👉 Are you a birthworker looking for a community that actually understands the sacred value of your work? A provider comments on our post: ‘I tried a platform like this before and got burned. Why should I trust y’all?’ Draft your response.

We completely hear you, and honestly, we don’t blame you for being protective of your practice. The traditional healthcare system (and the tech built for it) has a habit of commodifying care and burning out the people who provide it.Swishvo was built because we saw how underserved holistic and ancestral providers are. We aren’t here to squeeze your practice into a rigid, algorithmic box. We’re building the actual infrastructure to validate, support, and sustainable elevate your work—on your terms. We’d love to connect in the DMs to hear exactly what went wrong with your last platform so we can show you how we’re actively doing things differently. Let’s chat?
