what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
By sharing Colourpop with students on campus, I will show how it can connect people and bring people together in a fun way. One way I could get started on this initiative is through an organization I'm in called Temple University Black Public Relations Society. We could have an activity focused on brand identity called "Personal Branding Lab w/ Colourpop," where each member will answer 3 prompts, including: 3 words to describe their personal brand, their target audience, and one emotion they want people to feel when they see them. Next, members will use ColourPop products to build a look that aligns with their personal brand, such as a bold brand, with colorful liner or shimmer shadow, or a creative brand with an unexpected color combo or graphic elements. These can be made digitally on Canva, Slides, etc, and I'd give a list of Colourpop products they can choose from (but they're welcome to include others if they wish). Lastly, we will discuss: "How does this look support or amplify your personal brand?" Each person can give their personal brand pitch and show their look/products used, then explain why they made these Colourpop product choices. We can also create content out of this through short clips of the pitches, shots of the looks they created, etc. This workshop activity not only shows Colourpop's versatility but also positions it as a branding tool, while encouraging experimentation and confidence. This frames makeup as a strategy, not just beauty, so it is perfect for a PR club like Temple Black Public Relations Society. At the end, they will be able to take home Colourpop samples. One way I can lead sampling efforts off campus is through setting up a tabling event in the lobbies of The View and Vantage, which are a pair of off-campus apartments. In the afternoon, which is the prime time when residents are coming back from classes, and the elevators are always backed up, I will have an "academic glow up" station for students. This is where they can receive free Colourpop samples by writing a study tip/college advice for the next student to receive on a sticky note. After they write it, they will place it on the next students' sample(s), then they will receive their sample(s) and customized note. This could inspire motivation and confidence while generating excitement about the products. These efforts, along with other engaging events and content from me, will really show both the community-building and creative aspects of Colourpop as a brand.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage my audience by creating event-based TikTok and Instagram content that ties ColourPop products directly into my college life. By showing ColourPop in real moments, I’d make the products feel authentic, versatile, and fun, encouraging my audience to interact, recreate the looks, and see ColourPop as part of their own lifestyle. Instead of traditional makeup routines, I’d focus on building looks around on-campus events like concerts, cultural nights, club events, or game days using ColourPop to match the vibe, colors, and energy of each event. I’d create short videos that start with the event or outfit and then show how I use specific ColourPop products to bring that look to life.
