What strategies would you use to increase engagement on the account?
To increase engagement on a TikTok account, I would focus on creating content that’s relatable, consistent, and interactive. First, I’d make sure to post regularly and follow trending sounds, challenges, or hashtags while putting a unique spin on them to match the account’s style. I’d encourage viewers to comment by asking questions, using “this or that” prompts, or doing mini polls in the captions. Engaging with the audience is also key—liking comments, replying, and even making response videos helps build a community. I’d also try using TikTok’s features like duets, stitches, and lives to collaborate with others and increase visibility. Lastly, I’d study what’s working by checking analytics and seeing which types of posts get the most likes, comments, or shares—then build on those ideas.

How would you handle negative comments on the TikTok account?
If I were managing a TikTok account and received negative comments, I’d first look at what the person is saying. If the comment is helpful or constructive, I’d thank them and use the feedback to improve future content. But if the comment is just mean or hateful, I’d ignore it, delete it, or block the user if needed. I’d always respond calmly and politely when a response is necessary—never letting emotions take over. If someone shares incorrect information, I’d correct it in a kind and respectful way. I’d also make sure the page stays a positive space by using TikTok’s tools like comment filters or turning off comments when necessary. Most importantly, I wouldn’t take negative comments personally and would focus on the supporters and the purpose behind the content.
