How would you incentivize and persuade peers on campus to enter a secret hulu contest?
I would focus on word of mouth by treating it like a secret, yet not-so-secret social club. First, I would post like crazy on Fizz, which is the main app that spreads buzz on campus. Then, as you gave me more information, like how to sign up and the perks, I would create little cards to slide under people's doors in dorms with a QR code and something like "you've been chosen." Once that spreads the word, I would set up tabling events with food, as that's the main incentive on this campus to talk to people about the product. But I'll give food to people who sign up with Hulu or already have an account on Hulu and can tell me their favorite show. The food would have the QR code on the wrapping. As far as content goes, I would talk about my favorite shows and movies on Hulu. Another idea would be a watch with me series since I'm currently watching Smallville, or I would make videos about this "secret social club" starting on my campus.
