The shopping app Phia is a perfect example of how we can simulate entertaining tik tok and Instagram videos while producing ads. These are all over my feed and influenced me easily to get the app without being annoying. Utilizing trends and casual video styles will create videos with many views, as well as increase engagement to spread the ads even further. It gives our target audience a positive impression of the app and the desire to download it and use it.

if you were hired, what would be your first idea for peri's socials?
Engaging ads on tik tok and Instagram with faces from our target market—aka Gen Z young women—would be sure to attract users to our page and app. Utilizing popular haul-style videos to show scenarios in which everyone was gifted exactly what they wanted because they used Peri would also create traction. Showing multiple ways in which Peri eliminates re-gifting and returns and the fake excited smile during holidays, as well as how using the app is fun and easy is sure to make Peri blow up.

tell us about your prior experience developing + managing another brand's social strategy
I have worked as a social media and college ambassador for @SDFoodies, the Instagram account promoting local spots to eat around San Diego with over 405K followers on Instagram. I helped promote over 10 local businesses, highlighting one in particular and bringing in more revenue from student visits.
I have also run a social media campaign for my sorority’s (Chi Omega) philanthropy project, in which we raised over $36,000 in one week for the Make-A-Wish foundation. With such a successful marketing campaign, we ranked 3rd in the nation out of 181 chapters (and it was our first year)!
