How would you encourage students to try Uber and Uber Eats?

I would encourage students to try Uber and Uber Eats through student incentives and discounts. For example, offering things like free delivery, ride credits, or trial passes which enables the first use feel risk-free.

I have personally seen this work. When I attended a leadership panel, a DoorDash campus ambassador handed out DashPass trials. That single incentive converted me into an active user for about six months. It showed me that once students experience the convenience firsthand, habit naturally follows.

I would apply the same strategy for Uber by distributing rides or Eats credits at high-traffic campus events, finals week pop-ups, or late-night study sessions at the libraries. The key is getting students to try it once. After that, convenience and reliability will do the retention work.
