I remember, as a child, sitting and watching my mother do her makeup every day. I would always somehow sneak into it and make a huge mess. When I was finally in high school, my mother gifted my sister and me a starter makeup kit of all her favorite products, which were all amazing because she is an MUA. One of the products had a chokehold on the women in my family; it was none other than the Super Shock Eyeshadow, which we would constantly hit pan on. Make-up became a way of expressing ourselves to one another and still is to this day. So the reason I love Colourpop is simple: it unites people through creativity and expression, even across generations.
