Dry Brew

Create Engaging UGC Videos for Dry Brew

Dry Brew Profile Image

What approach would you take to capture authentic reactions from others trying Dry Brew?

I’d capture reactions in a very casual, low-pressure way by offering free Dry Brew chews to students on Speedway and asking a simple, natural prompt like: ā€œHave you ever tried a coffee chew before?ā€ and ā€œWhat do you think?ā€ right after they try it. Because Speedway is full of busy students rushing between classes, the reactions feel genuinely in-the-moment and relevant to Dry Brew’s use case as a quick pick-me-up. I’d keep the camera handheld, short, and conversational (no scripts), and focus on real first impressions like taste, surprise at the texture, and whether they’d actually use it during their day. I’d also do a smaller version of this with friends at my run club and student org meetups, so I can capture both spontaneous street reactions, and more relaxed, candid reactions in social and workout settings. This way, the content feels authentic, fast, and directly tied to how college students would realistically use Dry Brew.

How would you creatively showcase Dry Brew in a day-in-the-life video?

I’d film a fast-paced, day-in-the-life vlog as a busy UT student who’s always bouncing between classes, workouts, food spots, and student orgs. The video would follow me from a morning run/workout, to class and campus errands, to a new restaurant stop or quick recipe moment, and finally a club meeting or content planning session. At each transition point, I’d naturally use Dry Brew as my grab-and-go, waterless coffee chew to keep my energy up with no cups, no lines, no spills. I’d keep it authentic and social-first (quick cuts, voiceover, on-screen thoughts), and include a few real first-reaction clips from friends and runners who try it with me, so viewers can see how Dry Brew actually fits into a real, active college routine.

Are you part of any on campus orgs? if so what, and how can you integrate dry brew into them

Yes! I’m involved in Longhorn Developers, Design@UT, and I’m also planning to launch my own student run club later this semester. I would naturally integrate Dry Brew as a waterless coffee chew for convenient, on-the-go energy across all three: Longhorn Developers: feature Dry Brew as a quick energy boost during late-night build sessions and hack-style work nights when students want caffeine without leaving their workspace. Design@UT: showcase Dry Brew during design sprints, workshops, and event prep as a clean, convenient alternative to coffee runs. My run club: introduce Dry Brew as an easy pre-run or post-run energy option and capture first-time reactions from runners who want a fast, no-drink caffeine solution. These settings let me authentically show how Dry Brew fits into real student routines, social moments, and active lifestyles throughout the day.
