During my time as an intern at the Newport Beach Film Festival, I’ve gained friendships and connections that surpassed what was asked in the role. I got out of my way to welcome new members of the team and opened myself to being a helping hand. Not only did I try to build a strong foundation at work, but build a relationship outside the office to bond and understand each other more.
