I recently worked as an assistant unit director at a residential summer camp in Colorado. Each week I was tasked with creating a unit schedule. I had to account for days and nights off for our unit's 14 person staff, make sure those with certain certificates (ex. wilderness first aid) were running certain programs, and made sure there was room for all of our campers to have an activity each day. This required lots of attention to many moving parts, but became an enjoyable and manageable challenge.
