In a few sentences, share how Tigo can best generate buzz on campus. How and where should students find it and how would you activate it on your campus?
There are so many beverage start ups now that in order to make a splash, especially on college campuses, Tigo needs to differentiate themselves. At Syracuse, it's no secret that the students love a good party and a good party beverage to go with it. I think Tigo should start by having students sample the drinks on popular nights at the local college bars such as $2 Tuesday, karaoke night, or at tailgates before football games. Have giveaways of Tigo merch, give out free cans, give local bars deals on Tigo (college students will do anything for a bargain), have samples available at the popular student bars - anything that will get the name "Tigo" in students' hands. Next, it's important to have fun and engaging content on social media for students to want to learn more about Tigo. It is imperative that the social media presence reflects the audience Tigo is trying to have. Tigo could make funny tik toks, have eye catching graphics on Instagram, even having some quirky one liners on Twitter.
