For me, conversation is a large part of engagement. Letting the customers feel like they're talking to a friend or having a casual conversation rather than being bribed or persuaded makes a huge difference in the experience and the result. Specifically, I would ensure I ask about their day, their coffee preferences, and how interested they are in the benefits. This method allows for the customer to feel engaged but not overwhelmed by the experience, often resulting in continued interest in the brand and positive recommendations.
