What’s your strategy for engaging online communities?
My strategy for engaging online communities is to show up consistently as a real, helpful, and relatable presence — not just dropping content, but actively listening, responding, and contributing to conversations in a way that adds value. I focus on building trust by being authentic, sharing personal insights or experiences, and asking thoughtful questions that invite genuine interaction. Instead of trying to “sell” or self-promote right away, I aim to be someone people actually want to talk to — which naturally leads to deeper connections and long-term engagement.

How would you create content that stands out on social media?
1. Start with why you careIf you don’t care about what you’re posting, people can smell it. Like, instantly.Ask yourself:Why am I sharing this? What do I want people to feel, do, or think after seeing this?Genuine content >>> forced content. Every time.2. Show up as a person, not a brand billboardPeople connect with people — not perfectly polished, corporate-sounding nonsense.Talk like you would in a real conversation. Be honest. Be imperfect. Share behind the scenes, your thoughts, your doubts. That's what people relate to.3. Tell a story 4. Be really specificVague posts get scrolled past.Instead of:“Feeling grateful today!”Say:“This morning I got a DM from someone in Brazil who said my video helped them quit a job they hated. That’s wild to me.”The more specific, the more human it feels. Specificity is memorable.5. Mix value + vulnerabilityHelp people or inspire them — while being real.Teach something you’ve learned the hard way.Share a failure and what it taught you.Make someone feel seen. That mix builds trust — and trust is how people start to care.6. Understand who you're talking toYou're not posting to "everyone." Talk to one person — the one who gets it, who needs it, who you’re really doing this for.If you know them, you’ll know how to:Make them laughMake them thinkMake them stop scrolling7. Consistency, but not in a robotic wayDon’t just post to "stay active." Post when you have something worth sharing. That might mean:Showing up daily with micro-thoughtsOr posting 3x a week with deeper contentBut don’t post filler just to keep the algorithm happy. People can tell.8. Visually, make the first second countWhether it’s a hook, a thumbnail, or your first sentence — grab attention fast, but don’t bait. The hook should make people curious, not confused.Think:“Here’s the worst advice I ever got…”vs.“Check out my new video!”9. Create for humans, then tweak for the algorithmThe algorithm changes.
