Can you share an example of a successful event you organized in the past and how it impacted someone else?

One example is when I organized a girls’ night event for a small group of women I know. I planned the theme, gathered all the supplies, and set up a space where everyone could relax, craft, and connect. One of the attendees mentioned that she’d been having a stressful week and hadn’t had a chance to do something fun with friends, and by the end of the night, she felt lighter, happier, and more connected to the group. Seeing them laugh, share stories, and leave feeling recharged showed me how a simple, thoughtful event can make a real impact on someone’s mood and sense of community.

What is an example of when you went out of your way to provide an act of kindness from someone who is not an immediate friend or family member?

A good example is when I organized and hosted Hottie Craft Club at The Library Vintage. A free community craft night where people can come in, use supplies, make things, and hang out. Many of them are strangers or casual acquaintances, not friends or family. I put in the time to plan it, bring materials, set everything up, and make sure everyone felt welcome and included. The goal was to give people a fun, low pressure space mid week to be creative and feel part of a community, and seeing people leave happier and more connected always makes the extra effort worth it.
