What’s your approach to improving content based on feedback or analytics?

My approach is to treat feedback and analytics as a guide for improving future content. I start by reviewing key metrics like watch time, retention, saves, and comments to understand what captured attention and where viewers dropped off.From there, I adjust elements such as the hook, pacing, visuals, or storytelling style to improve engagement. If a certain format or topic performs well, I build on it with new variations. I also incorporate brand feedback to make sure the content aligns with their goals while still feeling natural for the platform.This process helps me continuously refine content so it performs better over time while staying authentic and engaging.

When you get a creative brief, how do you make it feel authentic?

When I receive a creative brief, I first focus on understanding the brand’s goals, message, and target audience. Then I think about how that message would naturally fit into the type of content I already create and what my audience responds to most.To keep it authentic, I avoid making the content feel overly scripted and instead integrate the product into real-life moments, routines, or storytelling. This helps the brand message come across naturally while still meeting the objectives of the brief. My goal is always to make the content feel like something I would genuinely post, so it resonates with viewers and builds trust.

What’s your process for coming up with hooks that stop people from scrolling?

My process starts with researching what’s currently performing well on TikTok by looking at trending formats, sounds, and high-performing videos in the same niche. I pay close attention to the first 1–3 seconds of those videos to understand what type of hooks make people stop scrolling.From there, I build hooks around curiosity, relatability, or solving a problem—for example, starting with a bold statement, a question, or a surprising visual. I also think about what would make someone feel like they need to keep watching.Once I have a few ideas, I test different variations of hooks and analyze which ones drive the most views and engagement, then refine my approach based on what performs best.
